Being a father, man is conflicted to many things. His way of life changes when he has responsibilities before and after he becomes a father. Some of these are which he cannot attend to since all the hard work and trust is on him. So, who would a man choose, his responsibilities, or the pleads of his wife? Since I am not of that age, i am in no position whatsoever to tell my opinions, but I'll start with two stories in the same side of a coin.
In the story of Illiad, Hector is about to fight Achilles, but his wife Andromache wishes him to stay with her and her infant son. Yet, Hector feels that he must be there for his fellow soldiers in war, and it his responsibility and the will of the gods for him to charge to battle, even if his fate is to die.
Another story in Aeneid has the same event. As Anchises, father of Aeneas refuses to leave the city, Aeneas decided to stay behind and fight till the end. Creusa pleads to the determined Aeneas that he must stay alive fir them, and his son Ascanius. Then, a sign was placed by Jupiter, in a form of a flame in Ascanius feet. After dousing it with ate, Anchises believes this is a sign that they must leave. As they reach the outside, Aeneas notices she did not keep up and tries to search for her, only to find her ghost that tells him of his destiny in Italy and his new wife, Aeneas tries to hold her, but to no avail.
As man tries his best to be able to cope with everything, the responsibilities of his job or responsibilities as a father. He need a self fulfillment in order to move on. He feels that he has to prove something to the world, even if sacrificing the trust or even a bit of love of his ow family, they must know that everything they do is for the better good, even if they get hurt.

Victory? In Defeat?
Victory. A strong and very nice word to hear. it can be applied in everything, in competitions, in bets, battles, etc. Yet, how does one define victory? How does one attain victory? Does one attain it after proving themselves? Showing the people around them that they are superior in nature, and they are greatest in strength and ability? How do you define victory?
For me, I believe that one knows the true value of victory if he has encountered a great loss or sense of defeat. He has to know the true value of his loss, and then attempts to remove the pain of loss by making great feats and achievements to replace that pain. He as to know that he has something to accomplish before he says his fine, and when he does, he gets a sudden rush of satisfaction.
So, it lead me to one question, do I feel sympathy for Aeneas and the Trojans. I can say that they have every right to mourn their lost, yet they must do something about it. I feel half sympathetic, yet half not. They have a destiny mapped out of them, and they will be fulfilled with the gods help.Their journey is a prime example of the phoenix. One who turns to ash shall be reborn and rise once more.

Everything has a Reason
As Aeneas tell Dido and the people of Carthage his journey away from Troy, in the search of the land of Italy, I knew to myself he had a purpose. There was something great in Italy that Aeneas will claim for himself and his people. And, I was right, he is to claim Italy, and be the great foundation of the Roman Empire, of which great leaders will arise, conflicts and regime with glory and story. But, if the Trojans are to are to claim their destiny, there is only one thing to do, to drive them away of their current home, Troy.
All are in the gods' plan.
To be the great foundation of Rome, Aeneas has to go through a lot of traumatizing things. For example, is wife is killed, the death of his father, the painful feeling of being away from home, and many more. But his first traumatizing even t was the fall of his great city. As Minerva was angry at the Trojans, she created a wooden horse where soldiers can hide inside. Th plot was to let the horse inside and wreak havoc at night to let other soldiers inside by opening the gate. This was an elaborate master plan, as Jupiter himself promised to give the trojans a land, an empire, and glory that their deserve, Aeneas serving as the seed of this glorious empire
I believe that for everything that happens, God has a reason for it. He leads you to a better path he gave you. And along the hardships and trial in the way are the great rewards and achievements. If his plan is not of your interest, you treat it as a bad thing. Bu, wait and see, strive hard, and learn.

That Smile
Her smile, it make her so unique. She ha everything, kissable lips, soothing eyes, beautiful hair, fair skin. Do you know who am I talking about? It's the one and only Mona Lisa of course. Her majestic, mysterious, uncanny, beautiful,disgusted,happy,sad,angry,unpredictable.....all the description can fit her smile. Is she sad? Is she happy? Who knows?! But, I think, in my opinion, it's a mix of different feelings, about herself, her current position, her painter, the great Leonardo da Vinci. It's reflecting what is her current situation.
Her smile is mixed with happiness, since it is an honor for anyone to have their portrait painted, since it mean you attractive or beautiful. But, I feel in her smile that she is disgusted by the fact that someone is looking straight at her. Look at it, if someone looks at you, wouldn't you feel bad or disgusted at that person, since you don't know whats happening inside him. And finally, she might be tired from the long hours of standing still, anyone will be.
Her smile is a Mystery. That is the reason this has been one of the greatest artworks in history. Nothing can replicate that smile, nor make a perfect copy og it. It is one and the only, original, smile.

History meets Me
One Saturday morning, I walk to my daily hanging place, the Convenience Store across the street. There I met one person I will never thought I could meet. He was wearing a large coat, a big hat, and was hiding his face. It was one person that I want to meet. It was Leonardo da Vinci, one of the greatest minds in science, art, and literature. He painted the Mona Lisa. He made full proof tanks and helicopter designs and blueprints. One would think how did he design technology that is set to appear centuries later? I would like him that.
I sat beside him, and asked, "Leonardo, is that you?" He was shocked, as he did not know that he was famous around this time, since the Mona Lisa Received Notoriety and fame worldwide. Then I'll introduce myself, and tell him how great was his creative mind that I so envy. Then, I invited him to my home, where I showed him the latest in technology. The TV, aircon, PSP, Cellphones, I showed him their functionality. He was shocked with how advanced technology is today. I showed him cars, modern helicopter and tanks, solar panels, and of course, the calculator, which where based on his early designs. He was so surprised to see his blueprints used and working.
When he is about to leave, I asked him, "How did you get to this time period?" He showed me the prototype blueprint: a time machine. It's complex design was only meant for his eyes. After that we went to the back of the convenience store, where he showed his time machine. He said its his time to go ad he bid farewell. The chance that I get to meet him was very joyous, wonderful, and was exciting.

The Seven Floors of School Detention
In my waning days of journey through school life, I found myself lost, unknown what to do. Unknown to myself, my inner conscience tells me to do things that are forbidden, those things that are not to partake. Yet, this things might give me the thrills I unable to experience when following rules and regulations. Suddenly, a burst of light shined in front of me. A figure representing a female, with beautiful lips, warm eyes, and a very beautiful smile. The said figure speaks to me. "You have gone astray from your path. I shall guide you, old friend." The benevolent figure guides me out of the this thick garden, to the ill-looking building of the old school building, which has an very disgusting smell, cracked walls, and uprooted plants in the said walls. Shattered windows, rusted gates, and the cold soil surround the very omen of this building. Every description I made might make people think twice before entering such horror, yet I hear the screams and cries inside its halls. She held my hands, game me a assuring look, and open the cranky gates of the building, letting us enter. The large, wide door had inscriptions written in it.
"Those who enter are guaranteed to learn, and those things they learned are forever marked in their hearts."
On its lobby, I see lines of many different students, walking through a hollow stair in front of the lobby. I looked at the map, and it's description, I read. Each stair will lead to a floor, then each floor will contain a certain proctor that will teach or punish to the right degree the student involved per floor.
The First Floor : The Late Comers and Tardy
They are to return to the same floor everyday at the same time consistently until they can do it without their own conscience.
The Second Floor: The Absentees
They are to make a full written excuse letter on why they are absent.
The Third Floor: The In-debt
They are required to pay everything that remains in their pocket at the end of the day until they have paid their debt, unless they need to pay double again and again until they are able to pay all of it..
The Fourth Floor: The Leavers
They are to never leave their chairs until a certain time limit. If they leave, their time in the chair will double again and again until they learn.
The Fifth Floor: The Cheaters
They need to answer a 200-item quiz withing ten minute while there is an answer sheet beside them, if they try to look at the answer sheet, they need to repeat the test. If they are unable to finish or get a passing score, they need to repeat as well.
The Sixth Floor: The Accomplices
They are to answer the same 200-item test, but they have a seatmate that begs them to give the answers. If they give the answer, they need to repeat the test again and again.
The Seventh Floor: The Harassers
They are to make a list of all the people they have hurt/offended/harassed/etc. And after that they need to make ammends to the offended, like doing whats right for them, helping them, etc.
