Our Breadwinner

Our father is a champion. He always has many plans and dreams for us. He is the person who would think twice before doing any kind of decision and would do the most correct or if not the best course of action in a situation that would affect the whole family. He is wise, but sometimes he also can be a victim of the people around him, and suffered such betrayals and hardships in his life. But one trait from him that did'nt ever change was he did't give up, nor left the fight. He is a true winner.

My father, Marcos Maloloy-on Riman was born to a simple family in the fields of rice and the smell of farming. They are four brothers and one sister. My father was second to the oldest,so he was respected as such. Born from a family of farmers, he was inspired to be like his father and grandfather has become.

He is a good father. He has overcame many obstacles in the past, but until now there are some obstacles left. He fought very hard for us, doing in every way he can to provide for us, until the very end where he is exhausted and tired. Now All we can ever do is to support him throughout his hardships.

Last Father's day, we only had a simple meal. My mom cooked spaghetti, we prepared the house. And when he came from a hard days work, we had a small but very special heart-to-heart meal. It was so special since my father was there, also our sisters, as they rarely come by and eat with us. It was a nice celebration, since we were all present to support him.

Even do he stumbles on his path, he is a great person to admire. A Strong father you might say. He is a one of a kind. And all I can say is thanks for all of your hard work. And remember that we are here to support you, as a family.

Informal Theme #1 : My Expectations This School Year.

                           In the first two weeks of going in and out of  the third year building, I have some expectations for the following month to follow. These expectations are based from my observation for the last 2 weeks. It not only involves the hard working teachers but also my fellow classmates and myself. And I hope this expectations can be achieved as soon as possible.

                            First of all, not only that I need to study, but also I need to maintain a good and healthy relationship not only with my peers, but also with my subject teachers. Next, I need to do what is to be done as soon as possible, so nothing can cram in the end. Third, I don't want to make teachers angry at our class, because it destroys the mood of the students and the teachers alike. Also, being friendly with each other in the class is a must, since now we are a new set of family members that lasts for the next months to come.


                             If all of this became true, then I have nothing to worry about this year. Since everything will be fine, no problems can arise from the class if we can work together and help each other. And also I want to have the most exciting high school year of my life. I wish I can fulfill all of this in just ten months.
